What we’re looking for

Reed Light Books seeks authors who are personally aware of their own need for grace and whose work magnifies the kindness, grace, strength, and patience of Christ. We publish across all four tiers of our scholarship framework — from established theological work to creative writing — and we’re especially glad to consider:

• Pastoral writing rooted in Scripture and tradition (Tier I – II).
• Spiritual memoir and prophetic reflection that names its own genre clearly (Tier III).
• Fiction, poetry, and devotionals that honor the gentleness of Christ (Tier IV).

We are not the right home for polemic, gatekeeping, or work that mistakes harshness for boldness.

How to submit

Send a brief query — not the full manuscript — to hello@reedlightbooks.com. In the email, please include:

• Your name and a sentence or two about your own walk.
• A one-paragraph summary of the work.
• Which tier you’d propose, and why.
• A representative sample — one to three pages, pasted into the email or linked.

We do our best to reply within four weeks. Thank you for trusting us with your work.

Reed Light Books is an imprint of Aperture Work LLC. Our books are registered with Bowker under the parent company and distributed through Amazon’s KDP channel.
